What, when, where

Fise-war-room.jpg

A 3-day workshop in hackathon/sprint mode: concrete work on a prototype implementation of the IKS semantic engine, roughly based on the ideas suggested at http://www.slideshare.net/bdelacretaz/title-the-iks-restful-semantic-engine-lets-get-started and http://dev.day.com/content/ddc/blog/2009/11/iks-pragmatic-view-update.html

The codename for this is IKS FISE.

The goal is to write software with tests and/or demo scenarios that demonstrate a few semantic use cases (at the RESTful interface level) using the semantic engine: auto tagging, link suggestions, etc.

The motivation is to help the IKS industrial partners express how they imagine using such a semantic engine in their products, based on concrete working prototype software.

Code and documentation

See FISEcodeAndDocs, also includes reports of what happened at the hackathon.

Communication channels during the hackathon
